Year 3 had a great trip to Colchester Castle. They loved looking around the museum at the artefacts, trying on replica clothes and shields, and even had a go at building an Iron Age Roundhouse and a Roman Villa. They particularly enjoyed going under the castle, to the cellars that remain from Roman times, to learn about the battle between the Romans and Boudicca.
